Smart thermostat Microtemp MCD5-1999

An underfloor heating thermostat that is compliant with the Ecodesign Directive, equipped with an easy-to-read touch display, and can be programmed in a comprehensive manner. The thermostat can be used with a floor sensor, room sensor, or a combination of these. When a combination is used, the heating is controlled with the room sensor and the floor sensor can be used for setting the upper and lower temperature limits for sensitive flooring.

With the aid of the weekly timer function, the thermostat can be programmed to follow daily heating cycles, and six other quick select functions can also be used in addition to these. The thermostat is equipped with a 'window open' function that switches the heating off for 30 minutes when the internal sensor detects a quick drop in the temperature. The thermostat also contains a practical energy calculator, with the aid of which it is easy to monitor the amount of energy used for heating and the related costs. You can use the energy measurement function to compare the energy consumption with the consumption of, e.g., the previous year. This can be done at the monthly level, and you can also view the consumption of the last week, month, or year.

The MCD5 thermostat provides the opportunity to set the impedance of the floor sensor manually in addition to the three preset values. This feature is particularly useful at renovation sites where the floor sensor cannot be replaced.
